Everyone please bump this bug report thread

Having halo miss when it shouldn't or do less damage when we are at the correct published max damage range isn't right, but the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Let the dev's know this bug is a priority to get fixed asap.

P.S. Stone guard is/will be an interesting fight to analise.
Would it be worth to have dots ticking in all bosses to proc talents, or just focus the two active bosses?

I tried doing it both ways - dotting all the bosses and just dotting the 2. I saw more dps in just dotting the 2. Also, I was able to constantly keep the halo distance needed with no problem - I felt it was better dps.

What kind of damage was everyone doing on the first 3 bosses (I think thats the average completion of each boss? Up to Spirit Kings, excluding Garajal as I would imagine most spriests would have to handle the totems)

I've been running FDCL/ToF/Halo for every single boss and felt my damage has been okay. While not on par by a long shot (busy watching mechanics) the damage hasn't been embarrassing by any means.

61k Stone Guards, 54k Feng, 50k Spirit Kings.

EDIT: Should only be dotting the two Quilien tanked next to each other IMO. The other two on their own take reduced damage (wasted gcds)

Ya atm ive been running FDCL + DI for every fight havnt decided if running mind bender would be better for it but. Ive gotten top 5 for 3 diff fights didnt get to do elegon because comcast hates me but FDCL + DI seems extremely strong for every fight just very clunky spamming things that light up!

I for one decided to go with FDCL and ToF on every fight, I did pretty well, only our warlocks were ahead of me, but lets face it they are completely overpowered atm.
69.7k on GS
62k on feng,
75k on spirit king(have to look at dps and not actual dps(e) cause WoL doesn't count you being active while being mc'ed ,doh)
I died on Garajal because one healer "forgot" to heal me full... but I was doing 65k before dying.
On elegon I managed to pull 127k with a death just before p3, kinda ruined my try but was decent nonetheless.

Most of this was done at 470-472 ilvl, I don't think having double proc talents is a very wise choice, it just ruins your dot uptime and makes your talent even weaker. I also don't have any hast break point(only 5900 haste, and I am a goblin too).
Of course, there should be no need to say I was using halo all the time.

The other guild Spriest and I ran ToF on Elegon and seemed to do really well with the constant adds dying. We both ranked (15/26) but not many guilds have downed him so it is probably irrelevant.

One thing I found pretty strange is I had a lot of issues with Halo hitting (assuming due to the bug). However the other Spriest in our guild didn't.. at one point I even stood directly on top of him. His Halo would hit and mine would miss (maybe because he's a goblin and I'm a troll)? On our kill, I just ended up running in 5 yards to Halo the boss/add and than back out to clear stacks.

Having no where near you guys gear (467 atm) and no where near you guys dps i've decided to check armory and wol and i must say i have no clue how you guys are achiving your dps... couple of questions:

- I see ALOT of armory not hit capped. All three (Pankakez, Lunaesta, Uglyshade). You guys raiding like this? Not doing it on purpose i've ran yesterday with 1000 hit points less and only managed to do 44k on Feng with ALOT of misses. So my guess is no but i'm asking.

Lunaesta: I guess your in pvp mode on armory atm right?
Ugly: 3300 haste and 4100 crit? Is that correct?

Are you guys using a multi dot tracker? I've not managed with ElvUI to do such thing. Only keeps track of the current target. Yes i've got name plates with buffs but doesn't seem to be sufficient (at range the name plates fall off the screen to the top).

Maybe its the 25 man vs 10 man ... i'm surely missing buffs.

Feng is a wrong fight to check misses, when he does his Epicenter ability in Phase 1 he has 50% chance to miss, so if you are looking at the misses on that fight its nothing to do with your hit rating.

You are right about Feng but i've checked the other fights and there was still some misses (not as much as Feng but still).

Question still stands then. Are they raiding bellow hit cap or not.

I spent the better part of the last week playing with all the specs on different heroics and boss mechanics and have a rough idea as to a template, but the bottom line is there is no substitute for practice and research. Some people just flat out dislike the whole idea of being "too bursty"...I went with Mindbender/DI/Halo for stone guard and feng...although divine star may be a more logical min/max talent for Feng, I really enjoy Halo and have gotten decent with tuning the sweetspot, so used it anyways...and boss still died. I guess what I'm saying is if you take the time to review the simcraft #s, there's a lot of fights where its so close that it truly is preference based. Try to keep in mind that our highest priority is a 3 orb DP...so any talent that gives you extra chances at orb generation to squeeze in in more top dps spells should be given a lot of consideration.
