Good evening, anything crucial, tips that needed to know for this fight?

How many stacks can u go for before reset, anything smart to do for optimize damage? Seems like Spriests should do decent damage on this boss.. :)

Just killed boss. Got rank 1. If you want to do max damage, make sure you SWD protectors for ToF and orb. Keep SWP up on the Energy Charge you are on, this will proc ToF even after it has died. Multi-DoT all three pillars. When Elegon has stacks, just throw dots on Protectors and focus damage on boss. I prefer Cascade due to its damage on Energy Charges and that it is easy to use. Halo requires too much positioning and thought for the extra damage it might do.

What was your rotation on your charge if you're keeping SW:P on it? If you don't have SoD charges, do you just Mind Flay? Wouldn't it end up being more practical to SW:P the charge beside you? What about Devouring Plague?

I do like two Mind Spikes first if I don't have SoD. After that I put up SWP at around 50% and maybe do a Mind Blast and then Mind Flay until 20%. Mind Flaying also prevents you from being GCDs locked when mob drops below 20% so you don't miss your SWD. Not that I succeeded with that on our kill^^. But in theory it works and I did it a couple of times on our tries. Yeah, SWPing add beside you is something I haven't thought about. But I will lose damage on my add then. But yeah, I will probably try it out next time to dot add next to me.

My add was really easy to bring down so I didn't save DPs for it.

If you Cascade your pillar, it'll bounce to Elegon and some other pillars on the opposite side.

Don't cascade your pillar though... Cascade the furthest target in range.

Agree, tried yesterday bouncing the one next to me, didnt have any good effect damage wise..

Cascade does more damage the farther away it travels up to 30 yds (need corroboration on distance). More precisely, Cascade reaches its maximum damage potential at 30 yds.

The range on it is 40 yards i believe and it doesnt decrease so max damage at 40 yds. No goldilocks zone like halo. Ill check the range when i get home just to be certain
