We use three healers on feng and stone guard (monk, shaman, paladin) and 2 on the rest (monk, paladin).

Our group full cleared with two heals, myself and a resto druid. A lot of fights that other guilds seem to be bringing 3 heals (guards, feng, and will) have avoidable damage or less outgoing damage with more dps.

I would argue that 2 healing is easier on every fight in vaults normal. Shadow priest is also quite strong on most/all of the fights.

Be aware that at least the first 3 fights require 3 healers on heroic, at least until much higher gear levels or without stacking an unrasonable amount of hybrid off-healing. Plan your gear/role accordingly.

We did our first raid last night. Managed to pull our resto druid out of retirement and we three-healed it (which I'm glad of). the Stone Guard's individual abilities presented.... a bit of a challenge for our fairly average-skilled raiders. I compared my logs to those of Twistedmind and we took a solid 20m more damage on our kill than his group (granted the fight was longer, but damage taken from cobalt traps and jasper chains was unfortunately high). I foresee dpsing this in the near future though once we get a handle on avoidable damage.

My raid group had visions of going with two healers, myself as holy or disc and our warrior gone holy paladin as the other. Our beast paladin from DS decided on Sept 24th to become a monk and dps. He was told we did not need him if he did not at least heal until we could two heal the fights so we had a third. We did a test night of the raiders that were geared enough and discovered we could barely two heal the trash much less the boss. The mana cap makes it almost impossible to heal people in 460ish gear through fights because they last too long. We did down the first two bosses, we are a casual-core guild that did not push for people to grind to 90, and both fights came down to me healing in spirit form for the last 5% so I had unlimited mana.

Short answer, no you cannot two heal ten man raids at the moment.

Parsed #19 among Holy Priests on WoL at the time of this writing.
Rotated through a good number of Raid CDs such as Tranquility and Devo Aura.
Spent the entire fight using Inner Will.
Used Cascade over the other 2.
Void Zone was placed in melee.
Melee heavy group.
I forgot to flask.
Ate +spirit food.
I can't wait to try other fights as 2-heals.

As a follow up to my previous post, we two healed attempts (close but no cigar) on the third boss last night. We were three healing for the first 8 attempts and realized it was the enrage timer that was killing us. Got below 25% with two heals but our healer that went dps was a little undergeared for dps. I think we will try to healing next week on the first two bosses next week.

This was our best attempt at two healing. It seems that in Romney's run as well as mine that the holy priest were showing up with a ton of heals.

@Baneofsin, We also started the 3rd boss last night, 3-healing.

We kept hitting the enrage timer.

I think my group needs to....

1: 2-heal this boss
2: learn how Spiritual Innervation stacks

I hope to get a 10-man normal kill on Monday.

Does anyone have any tips for stacking Spiritual Innervation?

The only tip I have for Spiritual Innervation is what my group did on the kill. We sent our best-scaling classes in the spirit realm (Aff lock and our Ret pally made a plea) with our resto druid. Resto druid popped tree of life and bombed them. Gave us an early edge, though I will also say that our first kill was mutually destructive (he enraged as he died).

I haven't gotten the opportunity to review my logs yet (getting an error with WoL) so I may have a better plan of attack for next week.


Also, we 1-tanked, 2-healed Spirit Kings. On the first attempt we nearly killed the boss with 3 heals, but I reviewed the healing meters and our healing combined was less than our monk's on the Gara'jal kill. (at one point, our resto druid decided to just take on the responsibility of standing next to the shadow ads when they spawn to draw focus, just so that our dps wouldn't have to kite)

Definitely 2 healable. We 2 heal everything but Stone Guard and hoping to change that soon just for spec/reforge ease. We are currently working on Elegon. We are still on normals. It is far easier for us to 2 heal feng, gara, and kings just for the dps boost. It does require your raid to handle the mechanics properly as there is not a ton of room for mistakes at lower levels. Our raid probably has an average ilevel of no more than 470.
