5.0.5 9/18 hotfix

Considering how well DI is doing for some reason, that might explain the haste jump. Was there a stealth buff?

Haste is simming high. Very high. "Above Spell Power consistently" high, pretty much across the board...this is above the 8085 breakpoint by about 400, so it isn't a stat weight crossing the barrier issue.

Bottom line: I don't have time to dig through the data and play with it to see what's really going on (66 hours left with a full day of work, bachelor party, flowers, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner......you get the idea: go go go!). I'll rerun sims with a new version of SimulationCraft and take a closer look at it when I get back in the middle of October.

Dammit Twin! I was glad to have you around as the Sim b*tch this x-pac, but now I have to actually do some Simming myself? Ugh. Fine.

Comparing the current Simcraft cross-class for T14H results and your listed results, it would appear that your Sims have some oddness for SW:P, with an uptime of 198% and a huge "time spent" dedicated to that spell. I don't see anything odd in the action list that would account for that, but it does seem that SW:P is double dipping in your results?

Probably just an anomaly or a bug in the current version of simcraft. I would use Twin's previous analysis for the time being as far as what gear you're planning to get, and how to balance said gear.

Half of the sims in that sample are for 2 boss encounters. So the 198% uptime is correct.

Not quite sure what would have caused the dramatic jump in haste values; I would hold judgement until we know for sure this version of simc is behaving properly. I don't see any syntax changes in the action list, so I'm a little confused. Considering that the hotfix doesn't particularly give any significant benefit to haste, something strange is going on.

In regards to the comments about odd SWP behavior: be sure of which sim you're looking at. Half the sims are 2-target, which explains the 198% uptimes. Also, in sims such as "Heavy Movement", yes, SWP takes up a huge portion of our time spent casting since it's our moving filler. The behavior of SWP doesn't appear to be abnormal, but the jump in haste's value is certainly disturbing. Stats don't just double in relative value, so I'm going to keep looking to see if anything is explicitly amiss before taking these results seriously.

From http://code.google.com/p/simulationcraft/source/detail?r=14322:

Log message

Build 16057 DBC data (for live). Fix a bunch of issues in apply_hotfixes - no
need for all of these build level checks if we're just overwriting numbers.

I'm going to start some sims with lower iterations (10,000 rather than 100,000) when I go home for lunch and get them posted tonight to see if there are any changes.

EDIT: Ran Patchwerk 1 target, Haste is still simming super high. If I have time I might try running the old profile to see if it turns up the same.

I know Twintop is gone for a few weeks (Congratulations man!) but is there any new information or updates on what will be best for the LV 45 tier with these buffs? Unfortunately, I'm raiding this upcoming Tuesday. :(

The SW:I buff is still nowhere near enough to make it a viable talent. If there's 2+ long lived mobs FDCL is top. Single target FDCL is only slightly better than Mindbender.
