T15 Set Bonus

by Aeristial » 09 Jan 2013, 20:07

Item - Priest T15 Shadow 2P Bonus (New) When your Shadowy Apparitions damage their target, they have a 65% chance to extend the duration of your Shadow Word: Pain and Vampiric Touch, causing each to deal damage one additional time.
Item - Priest T15 Shadow 4P Bonus (New) Periodic damage from your Vampiric Touch has a 10% chance to trigger your Shadowy Apparition.

Awful boring in my opinion, I forsee a druid point where you never refresh dots I just fear that that they "update" the dots making them weaking / stronger... In general I think it's bointless they continue their Shadowy Apparation obssession.

My experience with Shadowy Apparitions is that it is buggy and unreliable. There are many times when it seems that the apparitions cannot find a path to walk and they just do nothing.

That needs to be fixed, especially if they want to push the apparitions mechanic.

If there is an encounter where we stand on a platform or something, our tier 2 AND 4 piece could be useless, and that's annoying. They need to do some stopgap measure and if a path cannot be found, the apparitions just make a b-line for the target.

I'm going with Crit > Mastery > Haste at this point...BUT, there haven't been any more changes announced for Shadow yet.

Very high Crit would make your DoTs last for ~30sec each time I'm guessing. Math inc!

Past 8085 break point. I don't know how practical the VT+3 10124 haste breakpoint is going to be to try an reach this tier.

RANDOM THOUGHT: Notice how there's no mention of 'other' bonuses for SWI, since the 2p bonus is completely counter-intuitive to how SWI works. I'm guessing we're getting a redesign out of SWI in 5.2.

It seems interesting but I just hope they increase the cap from 3.

Honestly, they need to raise that cap... or at least add in some smart targeting.

Still keep hoping for shadow apps to be replaced with the Nibelung proc... Shadow valkyrs ftw.
