Hi everybody, I'm a long time visitor to H2P but only just recently created an account on here to hopefully be able to get any and all advice I could on my Shadow Priest. I played my priest as my main during TBC; For WotLK I played my DK and started my priest as an alt near the end, and I recently just swapped mains from my DK a week ago.

I'm pretty confident in my gem / enchant choices(minus bracers can't find anyone). I believe my gear is okay for only stepping into one 10m FL raid before stepping into my guilds main raid. I use reforgelite(addon) and RAWR to aid myself. I run BoT when I can to replace these dern shoulder pads of mine but I've not been lucky enough to see my token.

I should say my guild is currently 3/7 25H, 2% away from being 4/7 (shannon, footguy, bird), so you know what is within arms reach of me.

I've only been in one raid so far on my priest with my guild which is the first log here. The rest are taken against the Ironforge training dummies, the 3rd one was my best recording.

I only checked the armory and your WoL from Shannox Heroic and this is what my finding are:

- You are doing more than okay for your gear level. Your uptimes are good, nothing to comment.
- Your gear is decent, but to gain some dps you need to get to 2589 haste rating. You can only get that by getting some upgrades on your haste items. Keep enchanting haste on bracers until you have enough haste to reach 2589 without that enchant or until you get DI.
- The shoulders you wear are pretty crap tho (no haste main stat!) If you still have the t11 shoulders, given the T2 set bonus that you'll activate again + the haste you get, it would be dps gain, but to be sure, you should use simulationcraft and sim both profiles.
- One thing I notice you need to discuss with your raid is : why the F... did DI go to a boomkin when there were FOUR shadowpriests in your raid ? There's a topic at mmochampion in the warlock forum that clearly states that DI should go to sp's to gain the most raid dps. Given that you, and maybe some of your fellow raiders, are below 30% (2589 haste rating) a Dark Intent on a shadowpriest will get that priest a very good dps boost, a much higher boost than the boomkin can get. So : GET DI ON A SP (pref you) ;-)

I just got Mantle of Closed Doors last night, I had vicious shoulder pads before them with just over 2600 haste rating. I was also using the Moonwell Chalice from the molten front before my Necromantic Focus I received yesterday. I do wish I could get DI from our lock, but I'm afraid that I would most likely get it last out of the priests lol.

If you can afford it (or your guild supplies it), pick up the craftable boots. Those will be a nice, easy upgrade.

Honestly with the difference in gear and the lack of your 4 piece, the fact that you are that close behind the other priests is good.

Getting your 4 piece and those boots would be the top of my priority list, if I were you.

DI should go to the best performing shadowpriest that doesn't have 30% haste... I haven't checked your other guildies, but it's worth asking them if they need it and convincing your lock to give it to you.
