Replacing older raid gear...

Not sure where to post this, but I was curious when folks were replacing their 4-piece raiding gear, even if it was mostly Raid Finder gear?

Ditto for the weapons that dropped from Deathwing. How long is the proc off of Rathrak worth keeping?

Lastly, do you generally look for cheap enchants while leveling, or not worry with it. :)

Most of the 419?? Blue items from final quests in zone areas and dungeons are so noticably better than the 397 gear I had that it's an easy decision to make. I have gotten a few 450 pieces so far, and do not have much Cata left and I am only mid way through level 88 with 3 1/2 zones to go. COmpared to BiS cata heroic items I think someone said once you were beyond level 88 they will be replaced by better.

As someone that gambled on older enchants and mats being worth a fortune at launch, I have to say I gambled and lost. I am seeing top end Cata enchants only going for 35-40 gold. The enchants for Mists are even ridiculosly under priced. If you have a stock pile of materials for enchants it may be worth making a few scrolls for gear to carry around in the event you get a good drop mid dungeon, but the increases in stats is not really a lot anymore from Cata. +40 vs +160. And I have disenchanted so much green gear my bank was overflowing in spirit dust and shards.

I went for server first priest so, I had about 3 of each enchant in my bags and ready for leveling. I started to replace my 410 at the end of towlong/stat of dread waste.

I had replaced everything by halfway through 83. I didn't want to agonize over every piece so i just went with the higher iLevel. I don't really think it makes that big of a difference questing.

Reasonable if you're not decked in full heroic gear. It's about where I found myself replacing things on beta when my ilvl was closer to 400. On live, with all but one piece of BiS, I was much closer to what you said. I think I replaced one piece prior to Townlong.

...how do you replace t13 raid gear when you are under level 85....
