I picked a priest as an almost random choice during the open beta. Although I've eventually tried most classes over the years, I've not enjoyed any other quite as much.

We're in a totally different place to where we were at launch. And seeing priests come to fruition, with our ups and (plenty of...) downs along the way, to have strong healing and damage options is something that's always kept me coming back for more. Having three very different specs, which all allow you to learn and work toward perfecting makes it an engaging and fun class to play.

I always played restoration shaman since vanilla's beta. At the end of wotlk i rolled a spriest just to troll a guy playing so bad in my guild and show him that i could do a better dps than him with a lower gear. I never went back again to my shaman :)

Started playing during TBC, priest was the first character I created. I read through all the class descriptions and decided I wanted to play a healer, priest seemed like an obvious choice. Started out with a night elf, but after reading some guides to get me started, which all said night elves have the worst choice of racial spells (things were different back then, it was all about fear ward), restarted with a Draenei. I remember my first instance, black fathom deeps, I was shaking the whole way through, but we got through just fine and at the end the tank said 'nice healing', it felt so good! I levelled using a holy smite spec and played as many dungeons as I possibly could. My priest has never had a shadow spec - mad I know, levelling is always painful.

my priest was born, when my pally reached level 60, because my guilds raid was just in front of majordomus and i was afraid of the job i had:

the raidlead wanted me to stay besides the action and resurrect my dead raidmates, additionally i had to rebuff the whole raid every 5 minutes... the hell yeah, that was funny...

i sad bye to the raids, created my priest and said hello just a few weeks later on... i never regret that descision and i am playing another two priest... lovely!

Out of outdated info I serached for, before starting to play WoW, I choosed to be a Dwarf Priest. I eventually loved the race and class. I am a rare race/class in my server so very proud of it now, my guildies even call me shorty. Started playing at the end of BC.

I am an M.D. in RL so hey, cant deny the passion for healing people even in the game lol. I was considering being a druid because of the versatility, but because of that same thing I thought it was too complex being my first MMO.

My priest (Kanai) is my main character, 300 days played, I did get a druid as an alt, but only for the purpose of gold, and Valor point grinding for Kanai´s gear.

As a good noob, leveled from 1 to 80 in Holy, so i really had that spec mastered, and played it throughout Naxx-Ulduar-ToGC. In ICC I learned to play Discipline, and in Cata Firelands, I swapped to Shadow for Legendary purposes. At this point I consider to be very good at the 3 spec, although my heart will always be true to Holy.

I am a highly respected healer in my group, guild and server, I find myself giving advice 2-3 times per week to other people who whisp me ingame with help with priest class. So I feel very satisfied with my WoW experience in general.

I rerolled to priest shortly after levelling my old main through Cata. I was playing a resto druid and really loved the old playstyle but it quickly became clear that trees didn't really fit into the "new healing paradigm" and they'd either end up really brainless through buffs to rejuv and WG or significantly retooled to be more like priests (we all know how that turned out now). Tree healing lost a lot of its subtlety and skill cap but also I really hated caster form, I miss those silly twiggy arms waving about and dead seriously I would lose a prime glyph slot to have permanent tree form back.
Anyway, I figured if Blizzard were pushing the "three heal model" for everyone I may as well be a priest if I had to heal like one. Only it turned out my guild felt that having only three healers on the roster was just fine and wouldn't I like to dps and give haste buffs and so on. So now I'm mostly a shadow priest which turned out to be awesome given how the spec is right now. I recently levelled a lock to 85 for alt raids and although it's fun, spriests feel like a refined warlock in a lot of ways, no messing about with pets, no clunky mechanics like pet swapping for Demon Soul or the abomination that is ImpSF, and my god it's a pita trying to burst adds down without Mind Spike to fall back on. Very happy with the class right now, particularly with a discipline offspec which makes for lots of interesting decisions compared to say a tree's largely brainless hitting things on cooldown and filling with rejuv.

I love to play holy priest (in heroics or raids). I tried many classes but the priest is my favorite.

Rolled a druid in TBC, that was named Emaen. I wanted to give a priest a try in Wrath and it was the first alt I lvled to max without a break (other than the bear that was my main).

Always been a tank or healer on my toons, I'm dumb at dps... :D

Leveled as Disco, am still disco with holy OS. Switched her to main and never really looked back.

My first char was a blood elf paladin in TBC. I leveled my char as prot and played as prot. When I joined my first raiding guild I was giving the offtank role. I was also the only prot paladin in the guild and if I remeber correctly prot paladins were rare on my server due to most of them being druids or warriors. Being the guilds only prot paladin I was needed to join all mount hyjal raids being able to easyly aoe and hold arrgo on the undead adds.

But at around mid SSC/TK we gained a other prot paladin but lacked a holy priest. so I started a holy priest and leveled as holy. and I loved it. from then on I ran my own Kara team in guild to gear alts and new players for the guild on days we did not have main raids my priest quickly becoming well geared and my priest was made my main and the other prot paladin was giving my offtank spot but I just loved playing my priest it did not matter and I have loved playing my prist since. I did play my Paladin start of cata but I quickly got board playing my paladin and have now just returned to my main priest and quickly gearing up once again and I plan to be playing my priest from the start of next expansion pack.
