Best 2 Professions for a SPriest

Postby Trafalgur » November 15th, 2012, 10:30 am

In this thread i'd like to discuss;

a) Which professions suit/help the SPriest in RBGs and or Arena's (2s,3s,5s)

b) Guides that can be followed if gathering is listed.

c) Macros listed with professions ie. engineering, herbal., etc.

d) Benefits of the 2 selected professions with a possible Tooltip.

If this thread succeeds in hitting key points, please make into sticky!

Keep the information up-to-date please.

I think it's JC and ench - my $0.02

but it does depend on what you want to do - they did equalize all professsions for pvp

Myself i swear to Enchanting + Tailoring
Enchanting:
2x 160 Intel on rings, and enchanting is usefull to de your stuff you get from tailoring etc.

Tailoring:
Cloak enchant: Lightweave gives you a proc of 2000 intel.
Leg enchants: 285 Intel + 165 Crit,
but the thing that makes Tailoring the best prof for a spriest is
285 intel + 165 spirit. its the most PP you can get out of a profession.

But tailors can make sellable leg enchants for all to access, so its not a tailor only perk, its just cheaper as you don't need imperial silk.

Personally I use tailoring and engineering, partially because I've had both since vanilla, but PvP wise I think they bring something a little more interesting that just extra stats.

Tailoring:
Lightweave embroidery (Intellect proc): http://www.wowhead.com/spell=125481

And for access to leg enchants at any time free of cost, as well as higher tier bags and craft-able gear.

Engineering:

Incendiary Fireworks Launcher (I bind this to SW:D to secure kills) Permanently attaches a mounted fireworks launcher to your gloves, allowing a skilled engineer to deal Fire damage over 3 sec to an enemy at long range. The launcher can only be fired once every 45 sec.

Synapse Springs: Permanently attaches synapse springs to your gloves, allowing you to increase your highest primary statistic by 1920 for 10 sec. The gloves can be activated every minute.

Goblin Glider: Permanently attaches a specialized folding assembly to a cloak, allowing you to deploy a goblin glider and fall slowly for 30 sec. The glider has some initial thrust and allows you to turn while falling.

Aside from that the convenience of having 4 varying teleport items, access to repair bot and mail box is too good to pass up.
