About the Guild
Epoch is a guild formed in mid 2008 by a few players, previously doing some serious raiding together in another guild, that decided they wanted to take things to the next level. Although we do not consider ourselves a hardcore raiding guild we are very serious about raiding when we do it.
We are a guild that believe in quality before quantity. We keep our raid roster small and tight, and we raid progressively 12 hours tops each week, not including alt runs.

We also work on the Glory Achievements from time to time, so for you achievement hunters out there, we will do them and occasionally go back if time lets us.
We are an highly active guild, with 10 man and 25 man going weekly.
We only raid 25 man for progress, but have raids for alts and friends in 10 mans. Our guild is highly active, something that can be seen on achievement points earned on many of our members. Arena rankings and similar. We have something for everyone.

What do we expect from you?
What we look for in people is of course skill, but even more important the ability to be a teamplayer.
We need people who can take the extra minutes to study tactics for every fight, people who will not go AFK to have a snack, who will not bail on us if we have a bad night, people who knows when friendly conversation on Mumble is appropriate and when to be silent and listen to the raid leader.
We need players who will put their own wishes to shine after the good of the team by sticking to the appointed task even if it will mean they won't top damage or healing or are asked to tank something not as fancy as the main boss.
In short, we need high performing team players who will enjoy taking on challenges with us.
When we go raiding we need people that will perform at their best and that wants to be a part of the team. By this we make sure that every run becomes a pleasant, progressing experience even if we end up spending the evening learning a difficult boss all night.
Summary:
- We expect you to have high attendance and be able to attend 3 of 4 of our raidseach week.
- Willing and able to use Mumble. Able to speak is a plus, knowing when to be quiet is a virtue.
- Come prepared for all raids, meaning with all necessary potions/flasks/food buffs/repair money. This should speak for itself.
-Good knowledge and understanding of your class and role in a raid.
-Your gear to be up to par, we wont hold it against you if you do not have best in slot gear. But we expect you to show you have good understanding of your class and dedication, and this is also shown through gear, gear choices enchants/gemming.
-Being Situationally Aware. Knowing when to move, when to not, know when to dps, when to not.
-Raid experience with cutting edge raiding, or other form of gaming at a higher than average level. Have something to show for other than an above average damage meter.
Raiding Times
In Cataclysm we raid 4 days a week Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday and Monday and raid from 20:15-23:30.
