Build 15851 Changes

Yeah, I like the change... honestly I feel like if they start changing the class too much that it'll lose the feeling of shadow. I really don't want to be a mage.

It's been awhile since I have looked at everything but doesn't Mf still refresh SwP?

It just seems like they are tossing a ton of stuff our way foe execute phase

So. SwP running with ,000001 seconds left cast insanity. Then recast SwP?

No, you would set your dot timer to show dot ticks, and you would cast insanity before the last dot tick.

After beating on a dummy, confirmed mind bender still massively better.

Well single target, mindbender is better. Again, 260% sp is pretty strong scaling, so mindbender may lose out as you approach end game, especially in multitarget.

Also keep in mind, don't just think about these skill in terms of raiding. Some of these abilities will probably have different levels of usefulness when considered for the 5 man challenge modes.

But I don't necessarily consider change in our class a very bad thing. Some of these changes seem to reflect the large opinion threads put up before the beta came out.

While many of us might not like it, there's a large portion of priests in that survey that wanted some more mage-like qualities to our cast rotation. But they did give us a choice in that matter. Sure, when you want to min-max, there's going to be talent swapping and a style that works best for each type of fight.

On the other hand, if you just want to have fun playing the class, you can choose the style you like and go with it. If you get bored of that style, but not enough to reroll, you have the option to switch things up.

Besides... if you never give new things a chance, you'll never know if you'd really like it.
