wowhead.com, bnet armory and ingame tooltips are not updated but the number on your bracers is.

I had heard this weeks ago, but I couldn't find any information on it to confirm before today.

Tooltip on WoWhead still says 170 but below it lists the effect as
Effect Enchant Item: +180 Intellect (4414)

I was curious, when reading this I noticed it says the tailoring profession gives an additional 320 PP with lightweave. However in Twintops post here: http://warcraft.twintop-tahoe.com/?p=344 he lists the normal intellect enchant as 180 PP and lightweave as 526.3158 PP. If I am not mistaken that is a difference of 346.3158 PP. I know that lightweave is a proc and there may be different things taken into consideration on how to best use that proc, especially in sims. But this would suggest that potentially tailoring has a better PP value than 320 (as a proc I suppose there is a possibility that it could be less than 320 PP if used incorrectly as well, or procs at a bad time), unless I am totally missing something.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but....what exactly is the outcome of Alchemy vs Engineering?. Currently my raiding main is Tailoring/Alchemy, and I am looking to maximize my DPS, so looked at Engineering as an option.

Worth dropping Alchemy?.
I do have an alt with 600 Alchemy so pots/flasks are not an issue.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure exactly what you're asking (VERY long day) but... Having an on-use buff that eng gives is (IMO) more powerful than alchemy.

Is it worth dropping Alchemy to take Engineering for DPS :)

Many thanks.

I thought my original post was clear. Whats the math between Alchemy and Engineering, as the original posts isn't clear to me.

And no, saying 'IMO' isn't an answer unless you back it up with some stats, which is what I am clearly after, but nm.

Nice to see a first post treated this way.
