How are your numbers in MV?

For the things that don't fit elsewhere!

We downed Heroic Stone Guards and Heroic Feng yesterday and my dps was just terrible. I tried a number of talents combos during our attempts but even during long attempts and the kills themselves my dps would be the lowest. I didn't miss a single cd, was on the ball for gcds and everything - pretty much no downtime, dots being refreshed right before they are about to go off and etc. Really wondering how to push my dps higher.

Note: My ilvl was 468 when i did both these bosses.

I changed some gems around, got full enchanted and was finally able to show my face in raid. My numbers for Feng are still horrible...really not sure why. I'm hovering around low 40k, don't think I've ever gone over 45k. I used FDCL, DI and Halo as we were normally stacked away from the boss. During the Epi center phase, I normally reapply dots and then start throwing out hots+pom to help out healing...should I be spamming MF instead?

I tried triple dotting for stone guards but found managing three dots was not as easy as expected, especially due to the nature of the fight that involves a lot of movement to avoid pools + cobalt crystals. Divine start worked nicely for this fight as we normally stacked behind boss' ass.

Having said that, with gem/enchant/talent changes my dps has improved substantially and I got promoted to raider status *WOOT*.

Much appreciated for the advice.

Now my question is...what on earth do you guys do for Elegon? In regards to talent choices and general strategy?

Triple dottting on the stone guard fight is useless, because one of the guardians (the one that is alone in 10 mans) will be taking 90% less damage.

Just thought i'd give you a heads up on that.

Ah right, i thought that might have been the reason. Does it work though or would the gcd's be better spent on other spells as other people have mentioned.

Mine aren't bad - except I don't understand how people get 108k DPS @ Stone Guards in 25m while I only pushed 66k...

I screwed up at Feng badly last raid, but at least I got ranked @ Garajal and Spirit Kings.

Hopefully when we do Elegon I will rank higher.

Because those 25 man results are actually 25 heroic results, and they have a % damage buff from tiles.

http://i49.tinypic.com/2v3jugx.jpg 51,8k dps

I was at itemlevel 466 at this kill. I am top DPS on almost every attempt, both first and second boss. On first boss, I only dotted the 2 dogs that were tanked together.

I wasn't stacked on haste, but tried to spread it to haste/crit/mastery, because I felt it was a waste stacking for haste when I won't reach the SW:P+2 cap anyway. (not being stubborn, just testing)

Talents:
Tier 1: Void Tendrils
Tier 2: Body and Soul
Tier 3: From Darkness, Comes Light
Tier 4: Angelic Bulwark
Tier 5: Divine Insight
Tier 6: Halo

Glyphs:
Mind Spike
Dark Binding
*other glyphs I have don't matter for dps*

http://i49.tinypic.com/312trfn.jpg 53,7k dps

On this world boss kill, I was ilvl 468 and stacked on haste.

During both the world boss and Mogushan Vaults bosses I've took time to use halo for healing purposes, prayer of mending, shields and leap of faith quite often.

You are right, I didn't look at the Buffs Gained, didn't look at the Heroic kills either to see if they're empty or not.

Guess that WoL has a problem with detecting HC/Normal kills.
