As I said in another thread. I am fairly certain you will not have choice on stats for challenge mode. Everyone will have the exact same stats based on their class and role.

Your gear will be normalized, meaning that instead of your own equipment you will be fighting using a set of items that's appropriate for the instance. That way, the challenge level will be equal for all players.

Ah, I thought it was scaled back, but it idd seems like things will be normalized.
Too bad, I was looking forward to min maxing a seperate dungeon set :(

Assuming the boss levels for Challenge Modes is 92 (I haven't actually done any Challenge Modes and can't confirm this), 12% hit would be required. Working backward from 5100 for 15%, at 340/1%, you would need to have 4080 hit rating to be capped for Challenge Mode bosses when your gear is normalized. Again, this all assume Blizzard normalizes to the same hit percentage and bosses are level 92.

I would also like to add that certain races get 1% expertise from using certain weapons. For example, Humans using a mace would aim for the Draenei hit cap of 4759-4760.

Hmm, I hadn't even thought about challenge mode bosses. I'll confirm what level the bosses are in those and add that info in.

Honestly, and it's bad of me, but I didn't include that because I had rather hoped that was just an unintended consequence of them trying to help shammies out and would fix it quickly. Since it looks like they aren't going to do that I'll add it in. Prob won't be until Sunday though.

I'm sitting somewhere north of 480 ilvl and Reforge into and out of Spirit / Hit as well as Gem for Spirit. I maintain my 15.01% Hit in and out of Challenge Dungeons and have yet to see a Miss inside of them.

Well yes because if the bosses are lower level and only require 12% hit instead of 15%, if you maintain 15% hit you wouldn't miss ;)

I need someone to confirm what level challenge mode bosses are, I keep finding conflicting info and I can't check myself yet.

I did the SM challenge mode yesterday and bosses were definitely level 93.

Hello all.

I have a doubt, i am a human priest, and cap the hit in 14%, using a mace to get the 1% of expertise with the racial bonus passive.
Well in fights with bosses lvl 93, still can see messages of "missed" in some spells, my question is if another human/dwarf/gnome priest can confirm this.
