How are your numbers in MV?

For the things that don't fit elsewhere!

When you mention some stat breakpoints people automatically see those as some magical frontier which will double their dps (or even hps for healers) :)

we are 2/6 hc atm:
stone guards - 160k+ using fdcl/di and halo
feng - 86k using power infusion and fdcl and divine star

Do you happen to have logs of these kills?

Also, what sort of gear are you wearing?

WoL was down on sunday night when we killed it, I think our WoL guy has combatlog.txt saved somewhere, I will ask. We do have the Feng kill as a video on youtube only :( sorry.
My gear is above average (484 ilvl) which is the main reason imo why the dps is fairly high (especially on Feng).
I am using Power Infusion on Feng from two reasons - we do arcane phase first and we want to push it in 3 Velocities therefore we use lust at start, combined with PI and fiend and all procs it gives me great burst. Second reason is that it lines up nicely with adds in shadow phase.
But again as I wrote somewhere else it depends on your strategy and order of phases and how your cds line up.

So I only have access to LFR at this point in time, and I feel that I'm usually doing pretty well considering my gear (very very short of haste cap atm). I did 49k on ancient kings today and was #2, with MB, SW:P, MF, MSp being my top 4 damage sources from 14% to 11% of my damage, respectively, and of course Halo and DP etc on there too.

Like I said I was #2 on this fight which I am totally fine with, but #1 was an Ele Shaman that did 59k and 46% of his damage was Lava Burst, and 27% of his damage was Lightning Bolt. So with two spells he did 73% of his damage and absolutely stomped the rest of us. I realized I am not that geared and I probably had some unnecessary movement during the fight, but is this really how it is supposed to look?

*EDIT*

Just for informational purposes, I did 84k on Elegon after dying in first 6 seconds to no tank on add and being br'd about 20 seconds into the fight.

There is my armory if anyone is bored and wants to take a glance =P

I recommend checking out http://raidbots.com/epeenbot/ to see how your dps stands against other shadow priests.
And also, 56k on feng 10N. I'd recommend Divine Star and ToF (which isn't useless, execute range is a pretty awesome place for us).

Hey, that's pretty cool. I like that.

The name is somewhat deceiving though imo.

Can you explain the choice of using Twist of Fate over Divine Insight on Feng? There isn't really any time that you can take advantage of execute ranges until the actual last 20% of the fight. Fights like Spirit Kings, Elegon, and Will of the Empire give a reason to use ToF, but I can't understand how the damage increase would be better than Divine Insight if it's strictly limited to the last 20% only.

Even if ToF doesn't proc outside of 20%, it is still amazing for that 20%, and is very close to DI, if not still better.

I'd probably stick to DI for normal feng, imo ToF is just superior for heroic because of procs on the shadow phase, then the added need for heavy execute at the end.
