No PvP Shadow Priests on the board yet?

I used to always pvp as disc but I am giving shadow dps a try now. So far I am liking it (newest nerf not withstanding) but I am still really so I am hoping I might be able to actually do something with it once I get more gear.

I pvp as shadow, it's a ton of fun.

You just need good peels, and with the new 4pc mooncloth, with fade, i can get away a lot easier, but i still get wrecked by rogues without any peels. If i have a healer in 3s/5s i'm actually a lot less squishy than other classes, as I can disperse when i get low and bubble to get away.

I think shadow is doing decently, although i think 8% nerf was >:(
if they fix our dispel resistance i will be ok with it, but GG any healer can just spam dispel and there goes 20k of my mana for naught.

PvP is in quite a sorry state as it is..

- Dispel Protection NEEDS fixing.
- Melee Cleaves rule.
- BL/Hero Nerf affected alot of SP/Caster comps.
- Tunnelling is much easier with talents like Deaths Advance.

I'm hoping Blizz realise how broken Cataclysm PvP is & adjust it.

I've only done PvP in Cata. All I did in vanilla through wrath was raid. Now I want to explore the PvP side of the game, so I've been doing BGs trying to get the full pvp set. Hopefully after that I can find an arena partner.
I haven't played a whole lot after the patch, but I definitely feel stronger now. I'm sure the shadow damage nerf will change that.

yeah, if i was a glad player i'd consider writing one, but i'm just average, i stick around 1850-2k ish generally.

spriests are pretty good atm tho, you just need to do lot's of little things to make sure you don't get face stomped.

I have found rogues to be my bane right now. I am hoping that with more resil this will get better. I miss being able to kite them around the arenas and watching them die to reflective shield & DP.

yeah, rogues suck to have on you.

here are some tips though, with peels from another class, make sure you have fade glyphed and talented so you can pop off their slows quickly when you get a chance to get around a corner. Also the 4pc mooncloth bonus is vital to kite melee, i can kite a warrior all day long now, it's great! Plus don't be timid to blow trinket on a full kidney if the comp is healer+rogue, because if he switches to your teammate, he'll have blown most of his cds and he won't be able to lock you down long enough. and if you have the mana, DP spam does a ton of dmg, but don't over do it, it'll oom you quickly.

(but i agree rogues suck in arena >:( they don't let you do anything)
