Then what does it matter if you got good gear or not? Shouldn't you always be dotting them up regardless?

Because you can kill them before they get to the parasite, so calsses with low single target abilities like shadowpriests dot the adds to increase that. If there are classes that have rather high single target its usually a waste.

Why would you want to kill them before they get to parasite? We are AoEing the bloods down together with the second parasite.

Was the original question you asked and my response was that with a lot of gear and everyone dotting them and cleaving them you can kill them too early. Which is a bad thing...

Why is killing them early bad? If you got so good gear you can get parasite down easily even without bloods.

depending on your strat, most people don't use the time zone on the parasite which only gives you 10 seconds to kill it. Now with the fact that most range arn't as strong at single target compared to most melee you will need to extra dmg on the bloods to cleave down the parasite. I'm not sure if you are attempting to do this yet but the requirements are really close. It might be a lot easier on 10 man, I don't know. But on 25 man you need the spellweave to do a greater portion of dmg to the parasites and with even one blood dead you can easily notice a difference on how fast the parasite dies.

So i jsut reread the original post, it's impossible to kill it with bronze as last. Just doesnt work that way you need to go Greed, Red, Bronze, Blue.

I am raiding 10 man and we've made it to the Deathwing platform and we start at the default platform, then go all the way left, then one right then all the way right. So we have timezone for all platforms except for the last one and we use Bloodlust on last platform and nuke the parasite down. That is how you do it on 10 man at least.

Greed, Red, Bronze, Blue.

The starting platform is green, the one all the way left is red the one to the right is bronze and the right most platform is blue so....
