Armory:

WorldofLogs:

Any assistance on what I am doing wrong, or what I could be doing better along with possible upgrades and so forth would be helpful. Usually go with AskMrRobot for upgrade, reforge assistance.

Thank you everyone!

Looking at your 1/26 Ultraxion:

29 MB's 5:33s = 11.5s avg MB cast. This is killing you. MB is your heavy nuke, cast it as soon as it comes off CD, getting your avg down below 9.0 sec on this fight will improve your DPS.

Why did you cast Dispersion on Normal Ultraxion, three times?

Other than that Raid buffs and debuffs for you are pretty bad. If you had a better raid comp you would be able to do more DPS.

I know i have never read it anywhere, but i felt that b.c MB scales so hard with 3 orbs that it would be worth it to wait for me to proc 3. I guess this isn't the case?

Also, i cast dispersion three time b.c i usually take the first hour of twilight (i believe that's what it's called) the first time and it works out to where i do it three time (dispersion not glyphed).

Sometimes we have a lock and i'm sometimes graced with DI. Also, any suggestions on what would be a better raid comp for buffs and debuffs?

And what do you suggest that i reforge as a secondary stat? I was told that i should use crit b.c i have the cunning of the cruel but i was later informed that crit doesn't help it to proc.

Casting MB on CD should always be a DPS gain. However I will sometimes hold off on a Zero orb MB if I think ES will fall off. There is never a reason not to cast MB with at least one orb. Your avg MB cast was 48k and your avg MB crit was 103k, no other GCD you have can compete with that kind of damage?

Are you practicing for Heroic Mode with the Dispersion soaking? If so that shouldn't affect your DPS. I see you are using Cancelaura. The other SP "Drunk" isn't. I would suggest you PM him your macro :-)

Yes bring the Lock, they are one big spell buff and debuff package. Make him your best friend!

I think the only people liking +crit are the 2pc/2pc folks, like me. Mastery and Haste are your best secondary stats. You would probably need to run SimualtionCraft to find out exactly where they stand.

Alright, we'll see if I can improve on Tuesdays raid. Also, any suggestions as an easy comprehensive overview of Simcraft?

Again, thank you.

Its really super easy to use, D/L here:

http://code.google.com/p/simulationcraft/downloads/list

You'll probably want the Win32 zip unless you are on an Apple.

for Windows just d/l the .zip and open it. Drag the whole folder out to your desktop. It doesn't need to install, just open the folder and click on the "SC" icon in the folder.

Click on the import tab at top and search the armory for your toon. The options tab is the where all the fun is.

Options:

Iterations - I usually select 25k for this.
Length - I usually set at 300 with 20% vary or set to 350 with 0% vary.
Style - Patch / Helter / Ultrax - Your choice. The Ultrax is nice for modelling that particular fight though
Threads - I usually give it at least two.

Buffs / Debuffs:

Playing around with these is encouraged. You definitely want to do at least one run with the buffs you generally have in your raid. For example if you don't have a Lock, you can't get DI. But knowing what it would do for your dps if you did have one is good knowledge.

Scaling:

I usually check INT/HASTE/MASTERY/CRIT

Plotting: I have had trouble with plotting taking forever to complete. Try if you want, but I would run a few times without it first.

Hit that Simulate button and let it run.
